'Ireland is often described as being "so green." While the grass is very, very green here, I noticed that there is also an abundance of yellow. There's Gorse in bloom, daffodils in gardens, cautionary signs, light reflections, and, perhaps my favorite, painted doors. This is a bit of my collection of yellow sights around Ireland.'

'Warmth has many different meanings, whether it is a physical warmness due to temperature or an emotional feeling of warmness from being with people you care about or doing the activities you love. I find the concept of warmth to be especially intriguing because, in all the images in this collection, the temperature was quite cool, if not cold. Yet, there’s still a sense of warmth, from the sun, from fire, from people coming together.'

This piece was created using a collection of line drawings traced onto watercolor paper from candid photographs. All of the dogs pictured here were photographed around Europe.

I stumbled upon some street art while in Galway. I could not, however, take a complete photograph of the wall because of the shadows. When the camera exposed on one section, the other would either be completely blinded out by the sun or thrown into the shadows. This gave me the idea to cut out the sections not visible in the pictures and replace them with my own drawings. The results are two images of the street art itself, two rough sketches of my artistic vision, and two images of the final products.

'Dan and I (a phenomenally triumphant duo) went to Scotland one weekend to escape my 21st Birthday, and I dropped my Polaroid camera while in Edinburgh! I'm sure you remember how long you tried to help me fix it, to no avail. Instead of getting upset about it, you suggested I take advantage of the unique error and use my love for art to mess around with it.'
